10 file for four spots on Canutillo ISD Board of Trustees

Ten candidates will seek to fill four spots on the Canutillo Independent School District Board of Trustees during the upcoming General Election.

The District received 10 applications by the filing deadline for a place on the ballot.The candidates who submitted an application are:

• David Fintell, retired
• James “Jimmy” Loftis, EPPD Detective
• Lilia P. Maldonado, teacher
• Sergio Martinez, construction
• Carolina Ortega, housewife
• Armando Rodriguez (I), business development manager
• Jesus “Jess” Salgado-Ramos, legal orientation specialist
• Laure Searls, retired
• Robert “Bobby” Simemtal (I), restaurant manager
• Blanca S. Trout (I), volunteer and public servant

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5, with early voting happening from Monday, Oct. 21to Friday, Nov. 1.
