Canutillo ISD human resource assistant director elected to professional state board

Jose Barraza, Canutillo ISD assistant director of human resources, has been elected to serve on the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators (TASPA) Executive Board representing District VI.

TASPA is a professional association primarily made up of Texas public school human resources administrators and support staff. As one of six district representatives from throughout Texas, Barraza will work to highlight Canutillo ISD and advance the HR profession statewide.

“It is an honor to serve the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators for the upcoming term,” Barraza said. “I am excited to be able to serve the many fellow HR administrators and staff from across Texas and help enhance HR services not only at our District but for all public school systems in the state.”

TASPA assists in providing tools, strategies and approaches necessary to effectively and efficiently support the district's HR function and operations with relevant and timely information on the trends in the public school human resources profession.
